Airside is acknowledged as a dangerous place to work. Aircraft, the specialist vehicles, refuelling tankers and all the activities associated with servicing, maintenance and catering can create serious hazards for the unwary, untrained or complacent.
This course highlights the potential dangers working airside; identifies ways to reduce the risks and covers in detail vehicle safety, safety around aircraft, the effects of adverse weather and airport signage.
It is appropriate for all employees, contractors and visitors who are new to working airside. Our online course provides all staff, contractors and visitors working airside with the knowledge to:
- Identify potential hazards in the airport, ramp and runway
- Minimise the risk of injuring themselves and others
- Improving safety around moving vehicles and aircraft
As with all of our training the course, records and certificates are stored on our sophisticated learning management systems.
